After losing Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) on Titanic, she struggles to adjust to a normal life. The Rose Diaries follows her time in New York, breaking free from her demons and the ghosts of a sinking ship.
This is a trailer for a short film I’ve created. It’s not real (obviously), instead it’s been pieced together from existing footage to create a new fictional sequel. The basic plot has Rose (Kate Winslet) struggling to cope with the death of Jack (Leonardo Dicaprio). She crosses paths with her ex fiance Cal Hockley (Billy Zane) and learns a devastating secret.
Check my channel for the series. Each episode is 10 minutes long and details Rose’s life *SPOILER* (and Jacks) after the events of the film.
This video was created by combining existing footage with new music, voice overs, sound effects and shot footage. Through the use of juxtaposition (and clever editing) a new, stand alone work is created.
