The inspiration behind this video:

Thor: Love and Thunder might have set up the God of Thunder’s next villain for Thor 5, and he might be even more of a bigger threat than Thanos.

Thor: Love and Thunder’s ending sees Chris Hemsworth’s titular hero vanquish Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), but sets up an even bigger threat for the inevitable sequel. And that threat could be considerably bigger than Thanos.

Thor’s quest brings him to Omnipotence City, where a conflict with the Greek god Zeus (Russell Crowe) unfolds. As part of Love and Thunder’s highly comedic tone (even by MCU standards), the Omnipotence City sequence is played for laughs to a large extent even as its action begins.

Russell Crowe leans into the comedy of the film with his campy performance and fake Greek accent. In contrast to the much darker antagonist Gorr, the Omnipotence City scene wouldn’t seem to be the setup for the MCU’s next big villain.
