Hey guys, for those that didn’t catch the reminder in the title and in the beginning (green screen), this video is 100% FAKE, or fan-made, concept trailer. I don’t intend to clickbait. This was created for entertainment and fans, in hopes that it will come true!
Hobbs and Shaw 2 is always fun to make since its action comedy and its much easier to do sound mixing with the right music of course.
Speaking of, SHANCHI-CHI trailer 2 brings that same hip-hop epic vibe I was looking for, although it seems a little serious, I thought It was great anyway.
We begin with the interview clip I used of Dwayne and Jason talking about Hobbs and Shaw, in which I edited when he said “my name is…” then connected with “Hobbs” instead of his real name.
I thought its important to show the chemistry between the two because its what makes the franchise great. I showed Ryan Reynolds early because I want to foreshadow the idea that he maybe the mastermind all along, connecting a scene of Edris Alba suggesting they might be working together.
I kept it mystery because I wasn’t sure if I really wanted to see Ryan as the villain because it doesn’t fit his personality. Lastly I used Need For Speed scenes a nod to the franchise being part of the Fast franchise so we get to see cool cars.
