Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is an English actress and model. She is widely popular for her work for lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret. She also worked in two box office hit movies Transformers: Dark of the Moon(2011) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).
Rosie was born on April 18, 1987, in Plymouth, Devon, England. Her parents are Fiona and Charles. Her mother is a fitness instructor. And her father is a chartered surveyor. She attended Tavistock College. She was bullied in school for a long name.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley started her modeling career when she was 15 years old. She did a job at London West End-based model agency Profile. She did her first modeling commercial for Levi’s Jeans.
After that, she got a big break when she took the job to shoot for Teen Vogue in New York. Then she did a catwalk job with Naomi Campbell in New York City in Spring 2004. After that, in 2006, she signed a contract with Victoria’s Secret.
It’s an American lingerie brand. She came to the light after she was cast by chief creative director Christopher Bailey, replacing Agyness Deyn for Burberry’s autumn/winter campaign with actor Sam Riley in 2008.
