Steven Frederic Seagal (/sɪˈɡɑːl/; born April 10, 1952) is an American-born actor, screenwriter and martial artist. A Seventh-dan black belt in aikido, he started his grownup life as a martial arts teacher in Japan and ultimately ended up working his father-in-law’s dojo.
