Everyone’s been pretty curious about something regarding The Mountain from “Game of Thrones” and his wife.
The actor, whose real name is Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson but often goes by Thor, is famous for his role as Gregor Clegane, also known as ‘The Mountain’.
Besides “Game of Thrones,” he’s appeared in movies like “The Northman,” “Operation Ragnarok,” and “Pharaoh’s War.”
Hailing from Iceland, Thor towers at an impressive 6ft 9inches.
Considering his towering stature, you’d think he might go for someone closer to his height.
However, he chose Kelsey Henson as his partner, who stands at just 5ft 2inches tall.
Given their significant height difference, it’s natural that people are curious about how they manage simple acts of affection, like kissing.
It’s honestly a pretty reasonable question.
During an Instagram Q&A session a while back, someone asked Henson:
“How do you kiss? Do you jump into his arms every time and wrap your legs around his waist? Please post a picture of this impressive action.”
Her answer was straightforward: “Ah, he bends, I tiptoe. Or just say screw it, pick me up!”
Really, it’s as simple as that.
The couple tied the knot in October 2018, and Thor shared a lovely photo from their wedding day, where he’s effortlessly holding his bride.
He wrote: “It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!”
“I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side.”
Unfortunately, the couple has faced some tough times recently, with the loss of their daughter Grace in November 2023.
She was stillborn at 21 1/2 weeks.
Thor shared the devastating news on Instagram, saying, “After a noticeable decrease in movement, we found out her heart had stopped beating.”
“Words cannot describe our pain of this loss or our happiness at being able to spend time with our daughter.
“She is absolutely beautiful, with blonde lashes and brows and a little smile for mom and dad. The love we feel for her is overwhelming.”
“The grief we feel will be with us forever, but so will the love.”
Grace was their second child. The couple also has a three-year-old son named Stormur.
In addition, Thor has a daughter, Theresa Líf, with his ex-girlfriend.
