Anna and Lucy DeCinque, known as the world’s most identical twins, share every aspect of their lives, including a fiancé named Ben. At 35 years old, they are determined to become pregnant simultaneously, although Australia’s polygamy laws create a significant barrier to their unique relationship.

The twins work together on everything and have a lifestyle that emphasizes their close bond. They “go to the toilet at the same time,” share a bed, have all their meals together, take showers together, and even sleep side by side. To minimize their differences, they wear the same clothes and have undergone the same plastic surgery procedures. On a recent episode of TLC’s Extreme Sisters, they expressed, “We just think we’re one person.”

The twins proudly refer to themselves as “the most identical in the world” and both have been engaged to Ben, who is also a twin. The relationship began when they met him on Facebook over eleven years ago. He communicated with each sister separately for about six months before they decided to date him together.

Anna explains, “Sharing a boyfriend for us means we get to be together all the time,” while Lucy adds, “There’s no jealousy in this relationship. If Ben kisses Anna, he’ll kiss me straight after.” Ben lives in Perth with Anna and Lucy and their mother, maintaining an intimate relationship with both women.

“Ben, in his own way, will please both of us. If he does something for one twin in the bedroom, he has to do it for the other,” they noted. Although engaged since 2021, the three cannot marry due to Australia’s laws against polygamy, which Ben finds “totally unfair.” He stated, “What’s holding us back is that you can’t marry two people. That’s our biggest hurdle.”

Earlier this year, the twins made their hopes to become pregnant public. They expressed their desire to experience everything together, saying, “If it’s possible, we’d like to be pregnant together. At the end of the day, it’s how we choose to live our life, and we’re happy like that.” When asked about the challenges of trying to conceive simultaneously, Ben simply said it means “double the love for Ben,” affirming that he completely understands their need to be together 24/7.

The twins also assured that they would be content if one of them became a mother before the other, emphasizing, “As long as the child is happy and healthy, that’s all that matters. We’ll both be the mums, and Ben would be the dad, so they would have two mums and one father.” They concluded with gratitude: “We found our everything. We’re so thankful we found Ben.”
